...from New York, to Finland, it’s an honour to have Zizipho Poswa’s latest solo show, uBuhle boKhokho, included.
To usher in the new year, Wallpaper* Magazine‘s arts editor, Harriet Lloyd-Smith, compiled an impressive list of must-see international exhibitions to catch this January.
From the Lightroom, London’s David Hockney: Bigger & Closer, to Monica Bonvinci’s I do you at Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, and from New York, to Finland, it’s an honour to have Zizipho Poswa’s latest solo show, uBuhle boKhokho, included.
Poswa’s new series of ceramic and bronze sculptures draws inspiration from the elaborate art of hairstyling practised by Black women across the African continent and diaspora.
