          "Witnessing our community come together virtually and support each other during this challenging year has been an inspiration," said Jennifer Roberts, Design Miami's chief executive officer, and Aric Chen, its curatorial director.

          Southern Guild is pleased to announce its participation in Design Miami/ Shop, the leading international design fair’s new e-commerce site. The digital platform offers exceptional historic and 21st-century design to collectors worldwide 365 days a year.

          “Witnessing our community come together virtually and support each other during this challenging year has been an inspiration. In response to the numerous hurdles and hardships around the globe, so many have chosen to rise to the occasion and find constructive paths forward,” said Jennifer Roberts, Design Miami’s chief executive officer, and Aric Chen, its curatorial director, in the fair’s announcement.

          Southern Guild’s collection of limited-edition design includes hand-crafted furniture, lighting, sculpture and ceramics by 19 South African artists such as Andile Dyalvane, Atang Tshikare, Conrad Hicks, Dokter and Misses, Justine Mahoney, Madoda Fani, Porky Hefer, Rich Mnisi and Zizipho Poswa.

          Design Miami has also launched The Forum/, which presents original editorial content highlighting inspiring voices in the field while deepening awareness of the value of design and the rich contexts that surround it. The inaugural issue includes an interview with Southern Guild co-founder Trevyn McGowan.
